3 dough balls can be made into 2 turkeys

  1. Cut 1 dough ball in half – these 2 pieces will be the turkey heads and bodies.
  2. Using kitchen shears or a pairing knife, make 4 small cuts in the other 2 dough balls – these will be the turkey feathers.
  3. Pinch each cut into a feather shape.
  4. Use your index finger to press into the middle of the feathers.
  5. Lay one of the turkey body pieces into the indentation. You may need to fold the extra dough under.
  6. Poke holes into the dough for the eyes, beak and wattle and place pumpkin seeds, dried mango and cranberries in the holes.
  7. Lay your turkey on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  8. Insert 2 small pretzel sticks into the bottom of the dough for legs.
